The McAlpin Team consists of a primary team of 3 licensed agents with an additional 3 subagents and an unlicensed assistant. Together, Bruce McAlpin, Bonnie Howe and Cindy Lemm have been licensed real estate agents for 32 years. In addition to all of that specific real estate experience, Bruce was a licensed builder for 6 years, Bonnie was in management for 17 years and Cindy worked in training/development, organization and sales.
Professional affiliations of the McAlpin Team include Edina Realty’s Chairman’s Circle since 2004 (a small collection of Edina Realty’s top producers), Exceptional Properties, and the Monticello and Big Lake Chambers of Commerce. They also belong to the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors and the Minneapolis and St. Cloud Multiple Listing Services. Bruce has been top producer since he joined Edina Realty in 2004. Prior to that, he was Top Producer at his former company in Rogers. Bruce grew up in the Annandale area, then joined the army working his way up through the ranks to 1st Lieutenant. Bruce is kind, disciplined, articulate, a problem solver and a family man. He and his wife Julie reside in Buffalo and have been married for years. They have 3 young daughters. Bruce makes things happen – whether in real estate or life. In additions to the organizations listed on page 1, he volunteers with his daughters and their friends, plays boot hockey, golf and basketball with his buddies and still has time to volunteer with his church, his local lake association and in addition to being partners in a local lending institution. Bonnie has spent her entire real estate career with Edina Realty. She joined Bruce and Cindy in early 2006 and her business has soared. She has represented several builders and developers and has a special affection for first time homebuyers. Bonnie was born and raised in Big Lake and now lives in Becker. She knows her way around the Sherburne County area. She is a bright, no-nonsense take-charge kind of person who does an excellent job whether she is representing a buyer or a seller (or both!). Bonnie has been married to Kenny for 13 years and together they have 2 young sons and a dog. Bonnie is the Vice President of the Tracks to Success Chapter of Business Networking International. She also volunteers with Knowledge Bowl, her sons’ school, Boy Scouts and Toys for Tots.
Cindy has been a licensed real estate agent with Edina Realty since 1991. She has worked as a solo practitioner and as a licensed assistant for 2 of the offices past top producers. She has a wealth of experience in helping teams get organized and offer the best customer service possible. Cindy has been married to husband John for 26 years, and they have lived in either Big Lake or Monticello their entire married life. They have 2 sons that are young adults and on the verge of leaving the nest. Cindy also belongs to Tracks to Success (through BNI), the 2008 Professional Standards Committee of the Minnesota Association of Realtors and TOPS. In the past she has been a volunteer with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Toys for Tots (10+ years), a 7-year member of the Monticello Planning Commission, the Monticello Rotary and her church. She is a hard worker, a good sounding board, a creative problem solver and a valuable team member.
